Key Responsibilities
Project Deployment & Field Execution

Install and configure PCs, firewalls, network switches, wireless access points, and other hardware at client sites

Execute infrastructure upgrades and system replacements based on project scope

Support office relocations, expansions, and new site setups to ensure seamless user experience
-
Maintain clean, well-documented, and optimized network closets and server rooms
Inventory & Asset Management
-
Track and maintain inventory of hardware across USM facilities
-
Manage shipping, receiving, hardware delivery, and responsible equipment disposal
-
Reduce stock of unused or outdated client hardware through proper lifecycle management
Client Interaction & Documentation
-
Deliver a professional, courteous experience during all on-site visits

Accurately document system configurations, work performed, and updates within project management systems

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all deliverables meet project timelines and quality expectations
Collaboration & Improvement

Participate in preventative maintenance efforts and suggest process or infrastructure improvements
-
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and support staff to deliver exceptional service
-
Support additional duties as needed to meet team and client objectives
Travel & Work Environment
-
50-75% travel to client sites within the DFW metroplex
-
Occasional overnight travel may be required (local/regional only)

Mileage reimbursement provided for work-related travel

When not on-site, collaboration from the office is expected (Allen, TX)
Physical Requirements
-
Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 40 lbs

Comfortable working under desks, in network closets, and other varied field environments

Valid driver's license required
