We're seeking a skilled and motivated Tier 2+ MSP Engineer to join our growing team. This full-time, hybrid position (3 office/2 remote) is ideal for an IT professional with solid hands-on experience supporting and maintaining client systems in a managed services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Windows Server administration, networking fundamentals, Microsoft 365, and basic-to-intermediate cloud technologies. This role focuses on resolving escalated service requests, implementing standard solutions, and working closely with Tier 1 staff and senior engineers to ensure client systems run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Windows-based server and workstation environments
  • Troubleshoot escalated technical issues related to systems, networking, and cloud services
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user access, and security configurations
  • Assist with network administration including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and switches
  • Support Azure environments including virtual machines, backups, and basic cloud services
  • Maintain and support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Document systems, processes, and resolutions clearly and consistently
  • Collaborate with Level 1 technicians and assist with training and technical guidance
  • Deliver professional, responsive customer support aligned with MSP best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong MSP background (required)
  • 6+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a managed services environment
  • Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting Azure and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple client environments efficiently
