Job Description:
The Senior IT Project Engineer is a senior-level technical resource responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex IT projects for clients. This role requires deep expertise across infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and security. It is a hands-on, client-facing position that demands a high degree of technical proficiency, professionalism, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Design & Planning

Review project scopes and participate in technical pre-sales discussions.

Provide input on timelines, hardware/software requirements, and implementation strategy.

Design infrastructure and network solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices.
Project Implementation

Execute IT projects including but not limited to:

Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations
-
SharePoint setup and data migrations
-
Server and network infrastructure deployments
-
Firewall and VPN installations
-
Backup, disaster recovery, and security solution rollouts

Ensure smooth handoff to service desk and proactive teams post-implementation.

Adhere to established change control and documentation procedures.
Client Communication

Act as a technical resource during project kickoff and update meetings.

Provide consistent status updates and coordinate with project management and client stakeholders.

Deliver end-user training or documentation as needed.
Documentation & Handover

Maintain comprehensive project documentation in IT Glue and ConnectWise (or equivalent systems).

Ensure all configurations, credentials, and diagrams are properly recorded.

Conduct internal handoffs to service teams with complete project knowledge transfer.
